Welcome to Koç University Medical School’s website! Our Medical School was set up to bring a different perspective to medical education in Türkiye. We prioritize research, discovery, and service to public health. Our outstanding teaching staff also aims to meet universal standards of education and health by training tomorrow’s leaders in medical science.
Since October 2014, Koç University Hospital has been functioning with its highly advanced equipment and the latest technology. Our university hospital is on its way to becoming a prominent center point in the international health service and research fields.
Our medical school boasts Türkiye’s most successful students and most outstanding teaching staff at an international level. It is designed to form a basis for scientific research in medical science not only in Türkiye, but also in the world.
From the very first year of medical training, our students are guided to work in Kuttam (Koç University Translational Medicine Research Center), which offers unique opportunities for interdisciplinary research in the fields of life sciences, social sciences, engineering, and health sciences, and in our laboratories equipped with the advanced technology of our hospital. Our students continue their training under the direct supervision and guidance of the prominent assistant professors and lecturers of our faculty, so that they can go further in their professions in the future.
