Anatolia in Late Antiquity: A Study of the Phrygian Goths
Onur Sadık KARAKUŞ graduated from Anadolu University, Department of History and Archaeology Minor Programmes and completed his master's degree in the same University, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Erkan İZNİK. In 2022, he received the title of doctor with his doctoral thesis prepared under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Hamdi SAYAR in the Department of Ancient History at Istanbul University. He conducted research at the University of Bologna in Italy, at the French Centre for Anatolian Studies in Istanbul with the IFEA-Short-term PhD scholarship and at the DAI-Komission für Alte Geschichte und Epigrafik and Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, Germany under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christof SCHULER for 1 year between 2021-2022 with a TÜBİTAK scholarship. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Ancient History Branch of the Department of History, Düzce University. His main research interests focus on the socio-cultural and economic structure of Anatolia in the Roman Imperial Period and Late Antiquity.
