April 2012 :  'Teddy Bear Hospital' Project - April 3rd-5th, 2012

 

 

The students of KUSOM visited Sariyer Cicekli Bahce and Doga College's kindergardens to overcome the children's fear of doctor and had enjoyable times with approximately 120 participants between the ages of 3-6 on the dates of April 3-5, 2012. September 2011 :  "The Smoking Statuses and Attitudes of Freshman Medical Students Toward Smoking" 

 

 

 

H. Yavuz İnce, 2nd year student of Koç University School of Medicine, was the youngest participant in the 9th Annual Meeting of the ISPTID - 2011 which was held in Vienna, Austria in September 2011.

Gap in the literature in neuromuscular physiology:  Since it is difficult to study the functions of the neuromuscular system in human subjects, most of our knowledge comes from studies on experimental animals. However, since the animals are usually anaesthetized or decerebrated in these experiments, and since such reduction processes are known to alter the synaptic interactions, it is not possible to directly apply these findings to human subjects. more>>
