Application Conditions

• Only Koç University School of Medicine students who continue their education at the faculty can be admitted to the MD-PhD program.
• The success order in the relevant score type must be in the first 5000 rank in the Higher Education Institutions Examination Field Proficiency Test, which is the basis for placement in the school of medicine (International students who have not taken this exam cannot be included in the program.)
• At least 80 points from the central foreign language exams accepted by the Higher Education Council or a score equivalent to this score (80 points) from the international foreign language exams accepted as equivalent by ÖSYM
• Having a GPA of at least 3 out of 4 for the 1st and 2nd grades of the medical faculty (GPA is determined by the Education Coordinatorship, and the candidates who are eligible for the application are notified without specifying any rate.)
• At least 80 ALES* points in the quantitative type
• *ALES exam schedule suitable for this semester applications has not been announced by OSYM yet. You can follow up here. In order to complete your application, you must upload a official result of the exam score document or screenshot that certifies that you have taken the exam to the relevant place in the system. If you meet the score requirement, your application can be evaluated for the interview.
• Succeed in the interview to be accepted into the program
• Within the framework of the KUSOM second year research program, the student must have actively participated in a research and documented it.
